At the Academy of Better Learning, we believe every child deserves access to a high-quality, Christ-centered education. Florida's scholarship programs make that possible by providing funding that families can use at participating private schools like ABLE.
We currently accept three state-funded scholarship programs. Our admissions team is here to walk you through the application process and help you determine which program is the right fit for your family.

PEP
For students with special needs
Personal Education Program
The Personal Education Program (PEP) provides scholarships for students with disabilities or special needs, allowing families to choose the educational setting that best serves their child's individual learning plan.
Eligibility
- Students with an IEP or 504 plan
- Diagnosed learning disabilities or developmental delays
- Florida resident enrolled or eligible to enroll in a Florida public school
FES-EO
For income-qualifying families
Family Empowerment Scholarship — Equal Opportunity
The FES-EO scholarship is designed for families who meet income eligibility requirements, giving lower- and middle-income households the financial support needed to access private school education.
Eligibility
- Household income at or below 400% of the federal poverty level
- Florida resident student in grades K–12
- Priority given to students from lower-income households
FES-UA
For students with unique learning needs
Family Empowerment Scholarship — Students with Unique Abilities
The FES-UA scholarship supports students with unique abilities — including autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other qualifying conditions — by funding specialized private school placements.
Eligibility
- Students with qualifying disabilities as defined by Florida statute
- Florida resident in grades K–12
- Documentation of qualifying condition required

Does ABLE accept all three scholarship programs?

What if my scholarship doesn't cover the full tuition?

Who administers the scholarships?
